Meet and Greet Expectations

RubyRed’s Pet Care, LLC offers all potential new clients a Meet-and-Greet to discuss services. RubyRed’s Pet Care, LLC also provides Meet-and-Greets to existing clients who are switching pet sitters. The first consultation is free. Any additional consultations a client may request will be charged $20.  Contractors are compensated based on the commission rate.

Meet-and-Greets allow prospective clients to:

  • Inquire more about services.

  • Meet their potential new pet sitter and watch the pet sitter's interactions with their pet.

If a client is ready to book services (or has already been served by a different pet sitter), Meet-and-Greets also allows them to:

  • Go over and settle on a schedule for their animal's services.

  • Discuss home entry via knocking, lockbox, door code, key, etc.

  • Show their pet sitter the location of necessary supplies (leash, harness, collar, treats, water bowl, etc.).

  • Talk about their animal's temperament to ensure the best possible care.

  • Enter their pet sitter's contact information into their cell phone.

Meet-and-Greets allow RubyRed’s Pet Care, LLC Contractors to:

  • Meet their potential new client.

  • Assess the dog's readiness for pet care services.

If the Contractor feels that the dog is a good fit for them, Meet-and-Greets also allow Contractors to:

  • Discuss home entry via knocking, lockbox, door code, key, etc.

  • Learn the location of necessary supplies (leash, harness, collar, treats, water bowl, spigot, and hose, etc.).

  • Develop a plan for the animal to ensure the best possible care.

  • Walk clients through how invoicing and scheduling are managed through the Scout for Pets app.

There is no obligation for either the client or the Contractor to engage in services after the Meet-and-Greet.
